Record one useful lesson from a mistake, not just a copy of the worked solution. Reattempt the question without looking at your notes.
Example: a sign error
Question: expand −2(x − 3). My answer: −2x − 6. Correct answer: −2x + 6.
Why it happened: I did not multiply both terms carefully. My next check: substitute x = 0 into the original and expanded expressions; both should give 6.
